Weather
Lessons at Candy Lane Acres take place rain or shine due to our indoor riding arena. However, if the weather is extreme, we will call you to make alternate arrangements. Except in the case of sudden, unexpected storms, the cancellation policy will apply.
Arrival time and preparation
Riders are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled riding time. To get the full horse experience, riders are encouraged to learn how to groom and tack up so they can eventually prepare their horses for riding when they come for lessons. Riding instructors start classes promptly. It is highly recommended that riders allow themselves plenty of time prior to their lesson and after their lesson. This will allow you adequate time to help prepare your horse for your lesson and clean up your horse after your lesson.
Cancellation policy
We have always kept our lesson prices as low as possible to make it affordable for all levels of riders to have the opportunity to take a lesson at least once a week. If you are scheduled for a lesson and cancel under 24 hours beforehand, you are financially responsible for the lesson.
All cancellations and schedule changes should be done by contacting Chelsie, Hayley, or Candy.
