Riders are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled riding time. In order to get the full horse experience, riders are encouraged to learn how to groom and tack up so they can eventually prepare their horses for riding when they come for lessons. Riding instructors start classes promptly. It is highly recommended that riders allow themselves plenty of time prior to their lesson and after their lesson. This will allow you adequate time to help prepare your horse for your lesson and clean up your horse after your lesson.
We have always kept our lesson prices as low as possible to make it affordable for all riders to have the opportunity to take a lesson at least once a week. If you are scheduled for a lesson and cancel under 24 hours beforehand, you are asked to pay for the lesson.
If you cancel under 24 hours and would like to substitute another rider, you are welcome to do so. Please call in advance and let us know who is riding.
ALL cancellations and schedule changes should be done by calling the barn at 412-741-6822.
